First Grade News

There will be no new skills this week.  We will spend our time catching up on those skills we missed completing last week due to the time we were out of school.  We will not have a spelling list this week.  I will send home the last spelling list of the year on Monday.  Please make sure you are reviewing the vocabulary words nightly as we will be testing on these very soon.

You will be receiving a May calendar today in your child's red folder.  Please keep and refer to it daily as there are many special activities going on during the month at school.  Please make sure your child has his/her backpack with them every day for the remainder of the school year regardless of what is on the calendar for a particular day.

Some upcoming dates to remember are:

Pajama Day will be tomorrow. Your child may wear pajamas and bring a beach towel to sit on during reading time.

Strawberry Festival Holiday will be on Friday.

Mom's Lunch will be on Tuesday, May 10.

PTO Meeting will also be on Tuesday, May 10 (5:30).
